Community Guidelines

We want CarKitu to be a safe, fair and professional marketplace. These guidelines explain expected behaviour from Sellers, Buyers, and Referral Agents.

1. Be Honest & Transparent

Always provide accurate information. Sellers must not misrepresent vehicle condition, history, mileage, or ownership. Referral Agents must not misrepresent CarKitu services, listings, prices, commissions, or purchase outcomes.

2. Treat Others with Respect

No harassment, abuse, hate speech or discrimination. Keep communications professional and constructive.

3. No Fraud or Misuse

Do not post fraudulent listings, attempt payment scams, or use the platform to launder or conceal illicit goods.

Referral Agents must not use spam tactics, deceptive ads, fake reviews, automated messaging, or misleading links to drive referrals.

4. Respect Intellectual Property

Only post images and content you own or have permission to use.

5. Data & Privacy

Do not share other users' personal data without consent. Use contact data only for legitimate transaction purposes.

Referral Agents may not collect, store, sell, or share buyer personal data obtained through referrals unless the buyer has explicitly consented. Do not ask buyers for sensitive information (such as banking PINs, OTP codes, or identity documents) on behalf of CarKitu.

If disputes arise, communicate first to try to resolve. Report unresolved or fraudulent activity to CarKitu support; we may investigate and take action.

Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, content removal, suspension, or account termination.
